“Quiet waterfront property was built as a turn-of-the-century summer cottage and
is located just off Route 1, fifteen minutes from Ellsworth and thirty minutes from
Bar Harbor. (Six) guest rooms feature original furniture and detailed restoration
work; (all) offer a private bath. The spacious common room on the main floor has
a fireplace and pleasant water views. Full breakfast often features a selection of
eggs, pancakes, French toast, breakfast meats, and English muffins. Right outside
the back door is a private beach and picturesque views of Frenchman's Bay and the
mountains of Mt. Desert Island. Tennis courts(nearby), a canoe, and rowboat are available
for guest use.
